The Toy Fox Terrier has a lively energy level, making daily playtime and short walks an essential part of their routine. Despite their small stature, they thrive on activity and love to explore their surroundings, so keeping them occupied is key to a happy pup. Generally friendly with other dogs and even cats, they enjoy socializing with their furry friends. Their affectionate nature is complemented by their alertness; they are excellent watchdogs and will alert you to any disturbances or unusual activities, which can lead to a fair amount of barking.
Caring for a Toy Fox Terrier is manageable with only monthly grooming required to keep their coat looking its best. They shed moderately, so a light brush from time to time will suffice to keep loose hairs at bay.
