Where do your puppies come from?

We only source from reputable, high-quality, professional breeders. By New Jersey State law we only buy from USDA-licensed and inspected breeders who have perfect or near-perfect inspection reports. WE DO NOT buy from sub-standard breeders or unregulated “backyard” breeders.

What is included with the purchase of my puppy?

All Furrylicious puppies come to us with full veterinary clearance and are re-examined by our veterinarians upon arrival to ensure that they are fully healthy and fit for sale. The puppies are kept up to date with all exams and vaccinations for as long as they are in our care. You will receive complete medical records, pedigree information, microchip registration and NJ/NY Pet Purchase Protection Act warranties with your puppy purchase. This covers any illness any unfit situation within 14 days of purchase and congenital conditions found within 6 months of purchase.

We will provide you with all of the information you need to take care of your puppy when you get home and we are always available for support and advice once you leave the store.

Do I have to fill out an application to get a puppy?

While placing our puppies in an appropriate home is of utmost importance, we do not require an extensive application to do so. We base the decision to place the puppy on a more informal process of working with you in the store to determine your readiness and the best fit for you and your family. Because we are not dealing with dogs with behavioral or medical issues, the screening process is more relaxed. Our puppies are bred for temperament & health and are well socialized from an early age, so are great family-companion pets for most situations. We do, however, at managements’ discretion, reserve the right to deny a sale to any individual for any reason we believe will compromise the well-being of the puppy.

What if I decide the puppy I purchased is not working out?

Purchasing a puppy should not be an impulsive decision, and it is our customer’s responsibility to understand that they are making a decision for the lifetime of the puppy. This store incurs considerable expense and risk when a puppy leaves our store. Please make sure you are confident in your decision to leave our shop with your puppy. ALL puppy sales are FINAL and no refund will be issued, except if exempt under the NJ Pet Purchase Protection Act.

Further, when a puppy is purchased and is not going home right away with you, understand the puppy is taken off the sales floor and website/media and is FINAL SALE (with the exception of a health issue that would prevent it from going home when ready).

Please make sure you are confident in your decision to purchase this puppy and understand he/she is FINAL SALE even though he/she is not going home with you right away.

Why don’t I receive a full refund if I return a puppy?

For a number of reasons. First, once a puppy leaves our premises we have no way to ensure its fitness for sale without a veterinary examination. Second, the sales process is involved, requiring much staff time and effort. Third, all puppy paperwork and documentation must be updated and re-imported into our system. And finally, we miss other opportunities to place a puppy by you having him or her out of the store – often on a weekend.

General FAQs

Do you have online shopping?

So that we can give our full attention to our puppies, and our overall in-store experience, we do not offer online sales at this time. You can, however, mail info@furrylicious.com and we will happily work with you to get you any product you see on our website, social media posts, email campaigns or elsewhere.

What is your return policy?

Furrylicious is committed to customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your merchandise purchase you may return it, in its original condition and packaging, within 15 days of purchase. You may choose to receive a full refund or a store credit. After 15 days, you will be issued a merchandise credit which expires 1 year from the date of purchase.

Please be aware this applies even if you have not yet taken your puppy home with you, as once we take it off the sales floor/website/media we are missing other opportunities to place that puppy at the most favorable time.

Final sale items include pet beds, dog food/treats, grooming products, custom orders, personalized items, sale, clearance and discontinued items; holiday items and accessories. Do you offer Gift Cards?

Furrylicious gift certificates are the purrfect gift and are available in any denomination in multiples of $25.00. They can be used to purchase products in our pet boutiques even towards the purchase of a puppy! They cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. They expire after one year from the date of issue.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept cash & all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, AMEX and Discover) for merchandise purchases. We do not take cash for puppy purchases. For puppy purchases we accept all major credit cards and also have financing available. Click the link below or contact us for details.
